A Textile Art Screenprint in an Abstract Textured Pink and Mauve Colourway, from my Abstract Texture Series (2007)
Printed on a pink vintage acetate taffetta.
This Abstract Texture Series of textile prints was inspired by a textile knit lace fabric, of my design, which I experimented with by scanning, distorting and scaling up the textured lace knit until it was an abstract image.
To further enhance the textural effect, I have used a puff/flock effect pigment, with regular printing pigment to add depth to the design.
I have added another new Textile Art Screenprint to my Etsy shop.
This is a Textile Art Screenprint in an Abstract Textured Pink Mauve Purple Colourway, printed on a neutral hued knit jersey.
